Hindustani Classical Singing

Trained in Hindustani Classical Music under the tutelage of Smt. Srivani Jade and Smt. Vasu Sundarraj. Learned Thumri, Khayal and Dhrupad, now learning Bada Khayal. I have been conferred both Senior and Junior Diplomas with distinction from the Institute of Indian Classical Music, a global examination board for Hindustani Classical Music, and ranked Top 5 nationally. This marks my transition from a student to a teacher of music. Placed 4^th at Ragamala 2020, an International Hindustani Singing competition.Performed at several shows, most notably:

• Sang as a background singer to Shankar Mahadevan (a world-renowned musician and singer) in the Krishna Sabrang Show

• Performed at Saif Ali Khan (famous Indian actor) show.

• Performed at Benaroya for Asian Showcase.

• Led, composed, and taught compositions for 'Bhairav to Bhairavi' show 2022

Teaching Assistant and Private Instructor, Swaranjali School of Music

I am a teaching assistant to Smt. Sundarraj, founder of the Swaranjali School of Hindustani Classical Music. I teach her junior diploma classes every Sunday. Occasionally, I am also a private tutor to students outside of class.
