Dance - Kathak
Kathak Dance:
Learning Kathak under Smt. Antara Datta, Anga Kala Kathak Academy. In the Lucknow Gharana style of Kathak, I have completed 4 out of 5 Kathak standardized exams with distinction honors.
Notable performances include:
‘Yatra’ (2022) at Kirkland Performance Center and Arts in the park for the Ghazal "Awaaragi".
Had the fortune of learning compositions with Pt. Birju Maharaj (world renowned Kathak performer) and Smt. Shashwati Sen (internationally renowned Kathak dancer) from my School of Dance.
‘Dhundh’ (2018), Malhar composition, “Ghan Ghor Badal”. During this, I was interviewed by TV Asia about my experiences of pursuing Kathak.
